Peter is a global storyteller passionate to make a difference through writing, photography, videography, and emerging media.

His work has been published on the front page of The New York Times and in Al Jazeera, VICE News, and other major outlets. Peter is an alumnus of the New Media program at the University of California, Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.

Peter particularly enjoys covering East and Central Asia, where his work often takes him to China and Mongolia. Curious and open-minded, he is constantly searching for the next big story to be shared with the world.

Peter approaches his work with a rare combination of vision, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
— Richard Koci Hernandez, Emmy-winning producer

In addition to journalism, Peter has consulted in public relations for major international brands, conducted videography on arctic expeditions, and founded non-profit programs in Asia and the United States.

Peter produces content for a wide variety of commercial clients. He also leads media workshops for individuals and organizations. Peter is a visiting lecturer of drone videography at UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism and an instructor at the Advanced Media Institute. He was formerly a visiting instructor at CELSA-Paris Sorbonne.

In his free time, Peter enjoys learning new languages, getting outdoors, and struggling to play the guitar.
